Marc is a former Filipino professional basketball player, he was named one of the 40 Greatest Players in PBA history. True to his nickname “”Pinoy Sakuragi””, Marc’s hardwork and prowess in basketball earned him multiple awards in PBA. He is a 3-time PBA Defensive Player of the Year, PBA’s Most Improved Player in 2006, the PBA All-Star Game MVP in 2011, and 2-time PBA Finals MVP.

His popularity as an athlete and his admirable character landed him endorsements from major brands and made him one of the trusted sports personalities in the Philippines.

Currently retired from the PBA, Marc now is a collegiate coach and assists with the Gilas Philippine National Basketball Team. Marc also enjoys creating content for his social media channels and is adamant about his advocacy of having the game of basketball be more accessible to everyone through his “”Kabsat Games”” which he started in 2023.
